ORS (Yes, AGAIN)

Good morning to the people who take the time to bless my blog with their eyes 🐣

Everyone else can get greetings elsewhere 🙋

The ORS Curls Unleashed range has been around for a while and I reviewed it when it first hit South African shelves (read all about it here if you missed that one👈). Soooo I guess this post is sort of like a #tbt- accidental cool points for that! 😎

This is still part of the Clicks Curls swag bag chronicles btw- it’s the gift that keeps on giving! Since I tried the range initially, the Intense Hair Conditioner has seen me on many a Clicks 3for2 special. My hair feels soft, there’s minimal breakage and it really is one of my holy grail products *cue angelic chorus for lit deep conditioners 😇 😇 😇 😇 😇 *

Curls be like 💦💦💦

However, I only tried the Curl creme styler, because it came with the stuff and your girl was not affording thangs on her own XD Nothing much has changed though, because this is how I got to try the Leave-In Conditioner and Curl Boosting Jelly:

Free samples to the rescue! 😀

After deep conditioning with the OG fave, I applied the leave-in conditioner to soaking wet hair. It’s got a lot of slip, and I was very surprised that the one sachet was enough to coat all my strands. The scent is just as bomb as the rest of the range, a fruity flavour that’s tempting enough to taste. Or at least attract a bearded man who is partial to fruit 🙏 #LordHearMyPrayer

A moment so we can manifest our dreams 👅👅

The Curl Boosting Jelly… first off, I did not enjoy the strong grape scent. It reminded me strongly of grape flavoured bubblegum, and after a childhood incident I get very grossed out by even the thought of bubblegum  😬 So that didn’t vibe well, but I endured because I love my fellow natties so much and they need to know if this stuff works or not 😝 It’s quite thick and I didn’t even have to use the entire sachet. My hair prefers gel for definition so this didn’t disappoint:

Ignore my stank face, just enjoy the definition 😅

But here’s the downside 😢 I prefer to airdry, and usually my hair is 70% dry after a few hours. However even after a scorching hot day, this stuff was flat and wet and Just. Not. Drying. So I pulled out the diffuser and did the things but even after my usual time when my hair would be 100% dry, this do was only 90% dry! Day 1 hair was not the best- but the day 2 hair tho!

Yes I was feeling my damn self #noshame 😂

FINAL VERDICT: Definitely more frizz than what I usually experience with gels, but for the amount used I think the whole range works well together. If you can afford it, then buy it- it won’t be money wasted because you don’t need a lot for decent results. The Deep Condish is still the best out of the range tho, defs get that (your fro will love you for it😉)

Have you tried the ORS Curls Unleashed range (you moneyed woman you 💰💰💰)? How did you find it?

k bye

xx Sean

I was lucky enough to get about 5 full-sized products from this range a while back and love the deep conditioner as well. The jelly is not my favourite as it leaves me hair crunchy though, not a fan of that feeling.

Lucky fish! I think the sachet limited how much I applied, so I didn’t experience too much crunch. But that deep conditioner is worth every penny fr!
